Philippe Paillou

Philippe Paillou received the Engineer Diploma from the
Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique of Strasbourg in 1989, and the Ph.D degree in image
processing from the University of Strasbourg in 1992.

Since 2004, he has been a full Professor at the University of Bordeaux, France. His research interests
concern image processing and electromagnetic modeling applied to radar remote sensing. He conducts several
projects related to the study of arid regions on Earth using low frequency radar.
